Who You Talk To

After you reach out, you speak with an independent roofing provider in our network. That person runs their own business. They are not an employee of Mixedharris Roofing, and the work, pricing, and warranty come from them.

This site is the doorway. The provider is the person who looks at your roof.

What the First Conversation Looks Like

Expect a relaxed chat. The provider will likely ask:

• What you have noticed, such as stains, drips, or missing shingles
• How old the roof is, if you know
• What type of home you have
• Whether a storm played a part

It is fine to say "I'm not sure." Many people do not know their roof's age. A provider can look and help you work it out.

Request Help

Questions Worth Asking

Good questions bring out good answers. Try these:

• Are you licensed and insured for this work in my state? A good answer is a clear yes, with paperwork you can see.
• Will you put the quote in writing? You want materials, labor, and cleanup listed.
• What is the warranty, and who backs it? Ask for the terms on paper.
• How will you handle the old roof and protect my home? Listen for specifics.
• Is repair enough, or do you suggest replacement? An honest provider explains why.

Red Flags to Notice

Be careful if someone presses you to sign today, asks for a large payment up front, will not put anything in writing, or cannot show proof of insurance. A calm provider is comfortable with a slow decision.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can compare quotes, take a few days, and ask your insurer about your policy. Some policies may cover sudden damage, and providers can often help document the damage for a claim.
